Learning Journey: Pulau Semakau
BOO. My phone is screwed up. Gonna need to send it for servicing real soon. Thank goodness I have my spare phone with me now. My trusty Nokia 6100i.
Yes, I was supposed to blog yesterday about my Learning Journey to Pulau Semakau, but I somehow didn't. Reached home rather late and fell asleep.
No pictures (taken by me) for now because of my stupid phone, I can't even get the adapter to word for my micro sd card. Shall post ripped photos then. Credits to Puiwah and Pamela.
Pulau Semakau, the last landfill for Singapore. It is expected to be filled up by year 2045. Afterwhich, we must find other ways to dispose of our waste. Importing of refuse to dumpsites in China?? I wonder.
Ha! Pulau Semakau is SO CLEAN, I swear it's cleaner than mainland Singapore. During my entire visit there, I couldn't spot a single piece of litter on the floor, or even a fly.

Learning journey was fun. Too bad I missed it last year. But no regrets. I went for the Mount Ophir expedition where I met so many friends. The saddest thing just happened to the sec threes: THEIR expedition apparently got cancelled because of the lack of participation from the other schools in the South1 Cluster.
I know Raffles Institution will NEVER participate. They'll be too busy mugging away I SUPPOSE.
And that's the end of my Learning Journey. WHOO.
