ASCI Science Symposium 2007
Headed down to ACSI for the Science Symposium. OMG. I'm falling in love with ACSI already. The people there are quite charismatic I must say. Throw the stereotype of ACSI pple to be snobbish and irritating freaks away. They are different. =D
Again, another few pictures, stuck in my phone.
I saw this really cool section entirely on bones. Did you know that if you soak a chicken thigh bone in hydrochloric acid, it can become flexible? If you soak a bone in tea (earl's grey, lipton or whatever), it'll shrink to 25% of its original size. If you soak a bone in coffee, it gets stained so badlyMoral of the story? Avoid all caffinated substances. But then again, I think once in a while won't do you any harm can it? After all, we're talking about SOAKING the bones in caffinated drinks.
Whoo!! St. Margaret's got second placing! Their presentation was SUPER CUTE!
And seriously, I don't know how Hwachong acheieved first placing. Their presentation was no where compared to ours. Haha. Okayokay, so they do have a brand. And maybe they are after all better. This is just an opinion, thus making it BIAS.
Met Errol and slacked around. Visited the breakmaking station. Some tension station where I saw Jerrold (I'll get him to sing one day). Some MRNA station too where I amazingly understood whatever the dude was saying.
Studied in the classrooms for a while. And they are OMG so freaking lucky to have air-conditioned classrooms. Another HUGE reason for falling in love with ACSI.
Headed down to church where we attended stations of the cross.
After that we ate CHAR KWAY TEOW. UBER NICEEEEEE. Yummmy.
Went back to church again, was supposed to attend a meeting. But I decided to pass this meeting at the 11th hour. Quite irresponsible but you should have seen the NUMBER of people there.
Camwhored with Errol. WAHAHA. It was the best camwhoring session of my life. Alrights, so we spent ONE ENTIRE HOUR taking pictures of ourselves. How constructive. (:
Shall post the pictures MUCH LATER, when Errol sends me the pictures.
