LEGION OF MARY.

PPC.
I didn't know what it stood for in the Legion system. DO YOU DO YOU?
I would have thought it was the "Parish Pastoral Council".

It's the Peregrinatio Pro Christo Committee. BIG NAME BIG NAME.

I'm really impressed by the Legion of Mary Official Website.
Although the HTML skills are not the best, the content is FABULOUS.
It's more of an FAQ pit-stop.
Easy access to MOST of the questions of Legion of Mary you might have.

Also, I realised that none of the Concillium Officers are Asians.

Oh yes, they also have this ONLINE HANDBOOK.
I'm guessing it's for the auxillary members.
Heard there's a new edition of the handbook coming out.
I MUST OWN A COPY.

All right, I sound like a hard core fan of the Legion of Mary. I AM I REALLY AM.
-nods. (:

OH YES. It's about time some people take note.
WE DO NOT WORSHIP MARY. Do not point at us Catholics and go, "Mary worshippers."
Not as if I mind, but I do want to make things clear.

Keeping her in our prayers is like having a picture of our parents or grandparents in our home: it reminds us of our love for them and their love for us. Just as we don't worship the pictures of our parents or grandparents, we don't worship Mary.
Rather, praying THROUGH her is a sign that we are thankful to Mary for giving us the greatest Treasure in our lives: Jesus Christ.
The Serenity Prayer
God, give us grace to accept with serenity
the things that cannot be changed,
Courage to change the things
which should be changed,
and the Wisdom to distinguish
the one from the other.
Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time,
Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace,
Taking,
as Jesus did,
This sinful world as it is,
Not as I would have it,
Trusting that You will make all things right,
If I surrender to Your will,
So that I may be reasonably happy in this life,
And supremely happy with You forever in the next.
Amen.
Got this from Marion's blog. I think it's the coolest prayer alive.
Of course I still love the Hail Mary.
Oh yes, I should be going to Risen Christ in a while's time. If not, Blessed Sacrament here I come.
